This amazed me. I can certainly imagine that there are far more actors out there than there are roles to hand out. But still! What is with all these committees, and all of these non-creative people making the decisions? And being turned down because the prez wants Mr. Popular instead? It's like effin' high school all over again, man.

I come from a town of dog owners, so I can tell you that I've seen or at least heard of all of this behavior. It also applies to dogs who are left indoors all day while the entire family is away. What's the point of having a dog if every human in the house is always at school or work? They just get lonely and sad.

Think about the animal because deciding to fulfill some vague whim of getting a pet.
